About us
Dragonfly Ranch is owned and operated by Larry & Sonja Scribner. The aim of the ranch is to provide a fun affordable place for people to enjoy their horses, further skills in any chosen discipline, and enjoy a beautiful surroundings in scenic Water Valley, Alberta.
Sonja and Larry say: "We are not a show barn, and are not dedicated to one discipline or training philosophy."
Dragonfly offers a heated indoor riding arena (200'x60'), with a viewing room, coffee room, bathroom and bedrooms with a few of the Rockies. There is an indoor wash rack with hot and cold water and box stalls. Dragonfly Ranch has lots of different obstacles, an outdoor round pen and outdoor arena to prepare your horse for anyfuture plans. You'll find treed outdoor pens with shelteers, average size 3-4 acres fenced with electro braid and all with heated water bowls and also outdoor isolation pens fenced in wooden rails, with heated water for short stay haul-ins if you decide to come out for a visit with your horse. North of the main facilities, Dragonfly Ranch offers 100 acres of wooded groomed trails for year round enjoyment.
Deer, elk, moose, a large variety of birds and other wildlife share this scenic area that will help your horse become safe on trails.
We are excited to meet fellow horse enthusiasts and are always happy to welcome you on our Ranch.
